Carl Hansen & Son expands its line of outdoor furniture with a set with a table and benches created by the Danish designer Børge Mogensen in 1971. Ready to welcome family and friends, the set can be folded away after use, taking up a minimum of space. It was originally produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik, but then went out of production. The series has been replicated based on the original design, slightly boosting the height of the table and benches to adapt to today’s average users.

The Rio Bench ALU Set by Raffaello Galiotto for Nardi includes the Rio ALU 210 Fix table and two Rio Bench ALU benches, with boards for the tops of the tables and seat platforms. In coated aluminium, the boards have a slightly lined texture. The set is easy to assemble and disassemble, and is made with non-toxic, anti-static and 100% recyclable materials.

Kettal has reissued Il Colonnato, a project from 1977 by Mario Bellini. A sequence of columns supports a top and creates a sort of portico, suggesting a sort of primordial architecture. Designed at first to be made with a classic material like marble, today’s version by Kettal incorporates two other materials, teak and concrete, for a more contemporary outdoor product.

Myyour enhances the Push family of furnishings with new elements that permit creation of perfect areas for outdoor relaxation and dining. The new dining table has an elegant round stoneware top, available in a range of finishes, and a particular structure based on the intersection of metal rods.

For a dining area en plein air, Fast presents AllSize, a table with a top in iroko wood with rigorous geometric styling, and the Ria dining chair with a quilted back, both designed by Alberto Lievore.

Lelievre, with the Dublin collection by Jean-Paul Gaultier, proposes a pattern typical of Irish imagery for an outdoor print fabric that is very light but also stands up to weather.

Also in the world of outdoor textiles, Chiara Andreatti has created the Guna collection for Gervasoni, including a carpet made with an artisanal knitting technique. Very slender polypropylene thread in two contrasting colors is woven to give rise to a carpet available in two versions, one with a monochrome striped texture in two sizes, and one with a more decorative look. In three color variants, Blue, Red and Natural, all double-face.

Linear design is the earmark of the Skill system by Carlo Presotto and Andrea Bassanello for Modulnova, with a stoneware island that welcomes the large built-in sink (with a retractable mixer to optimize space with clean aesthetic lines) and goes perfect with the two other functional blocks in grosgrain Graphite marble. The electric and freestanding steel hobs stand up to salt air and weathering, and when the kitchen is not in use it can be removed by hand and repositioned elsewhere.

Fulgor presents the FOBQ 1000 G X outdoor gas barbecue, for grilling, cooking and roasting in the open air. Four tubular gas burners in aluminium bring heat to the grill for exceptional performance. The Teppan Yaki grill permits cooking directly on its steel surface, without oils or other added ingredients.

Ceramiche Refin narrates the charm of natural materials with the Blended collection, through hybrid surfaces featuring signs, shadings, sophisticated textures and soft materic effects. Blended comes in the OUT2.0 variant with a thickness of 2 cm, in two sizes, including the large outdoor format of 60 x 120 cm, and four natural earth-tone colors.

For the pool area, the Anversa collection of porcelain stoneware by Ceramica del Conca is ideal for indoor and outdoor floors and facings, also thanks to the possibility of a slip-proofing coefficient of R10. The collection is based on the look of stone, and its rugged aspect is softened by a glaze to make the surface pleasing to the touch.

The distinctive feature of Phoenix (on cover), the pergola by Pratic, is its essential silhouette, made with sections measuring only 10×15 cm, and a planar canopy in packable PVC, to limit the pergola’s architectural impact. Two versions are available: with arches or posts, both self-supporting or wall-mounted to make configurations ranging up to 5×10 m. A comfortable shelter against strong sunlight and light showers.

The Knot collection designed by Chiaramonte Marin for Brokis has been expanded with a portable version for outdoor use, with charge time of 6 hours. The LED light source, together with the rechargeable battery, is contained on the base of the glass body of the lamp, and protected by a cap that acts as a diffuser.

The Spanish company Calma transforms water into light with the Lotus lamp. This is a floating fixture with a compact cork base, containing a nearly invisible standard outdoor bulb, with an induction recharge system requiring no external wiring. The point from which the light is emitted is almost imperceptible, allowing the glow to uniformly spread in the water.

Initially created as an extension of Nui, the Luceplan family of outdoor lights designed by Meneghello Paolelli, Nui mini translates the original idea into a rechargeable table lamp version, becoming a product with its own identity. Nui mini has a glass base and is offered in three colors for the cap (white, greige and dove gray). It can be used outdoors and stands up to weathering. Recharged like a smartphone, for 12 hours of operation per full charge.

The Flos lamps designed by Michael Anastassiades for indoor use are now available in an outdoor version, with waterproof design to comply with all the requirements of outdoor lighting: as in the case of Captain Flint, adapted in terms of materials and finishes, but still inimitable.
