Born and raised in Austria, she studied with the painter Luise Jehly and went to art school in Zurich before beginning her eclectic career, working as a stylist and make-up artist for theater and cinema productions.
In the end, her true passion for working with forms and color got the upper hand. In the early 2000s a long series began of solo and group shows featuring her work.

Her creations occupy a middle ground between abstraction and figuration.
She likes to quote a famous phrase by Victor Hugo, “it’s sad to think that nature speaks and mankind will not listen.”
She translates leaves, trees and pools of water into fireworks of color. «I paint to let nature speak in an artificial language», she says. A surreal, vibrant world full of joy.

Her long relationship with the world of entertainment, and with theater in particular, can be seen in her work. Enlarged to match large surfaces in the guise of wallpaper, nine of her creations have become lush, engaging settings. They transform and expand the spaces they decorate, with visions of pure energy.
