A 14th edition that has had to come to terms with a world of work in a total state of transformation. But in this scenario, those companies that in Italy have ensured and nurtured best practices in the area of human resources – 131 in number – stand out more than ever. The Top Employers Institute has rewarded them with Top Employers Italia 2022 certification. The evaluation criteria include best working conditions, benefits, career paths, investments in training and education, policies of professional and personal growth and employee wellbeing.

Amazon Italia, Ferrari, Fincantieri, Lamborghini, Lavazza, Nexi are among the 131 companies in our country to achieve this status. And the design industry is part of the ranks. The list includes Elica, iGuzzini and Marazzi among the firms offering the best working conditions, with a constant focus on improvement of their own best practices.

The case of Marazzi (which has received the prize for the sixth consecutive year, also extending to Marazzi in Spain this time) has been directly explained by Luca Gatti, director of HR and Organization of Marazzi Group: «In a year such as the last one, which has still been complicated, we have managed to work in complete safety in all countries, also thanks to the extensive training conducted on this theme every year – Gatti remarks. – with both remote and physical classrooms, we have continued our training programs, not only on safety but in all areas – quality and environment, management, data processing, languages and specialized technology – for a total of 257 courses and over 11,000 hours in 2021, in the context of the Marazzi Academy project which is joined in the territory by the Marazzi Academy Duale project, a multi-year path for over 50 students of the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Alessandro Volta in Sassuolo, province of Modena, where the main focus is readiness for employment».

«Furthermore – Gatti continues – we have added new provisions inside the program of Corporate Welfare, guaranteeing the possibility of converting part of the prize into goods or services related to health, education, wellness and culture».
