Design Shanghai: the digital program

The event – postponed to November – offers a series of talks and events on social platforms

Design Shanghai, one of the Asian appointments for lovers of decor and design, previously scheduled for March, has been postponed due to the pandemic and will take place from 26 to 29 November 2020 at the Shanghai World Exhibition and Convention Centre. But the show goes on in the context of social networks: the fair presents a digital program throughout the month of May, creating a solid bond between Chinese and international audiences.

Happy Together by MDO @ Xintiandi Design Festival, Shanghai

On the Instagram account @design_shanghai, don’t miss the live interviews every Friday with outstanding designers like Nada Debs, Kelly Hoppen and Andre Fu, offering the possibility to discover the world of designers, their personalities, approaches, inspirations, also with a question and answer session.
So Design Shanghai moves forward: the event will be a partner of the Xintiandi Design Festival, enlivening the city of Shanghai for two weeks, from 25 May to 8 June. The theme of the festival, chosen before the arrival of Covid-19, is very timely: the title is ‘Together!’ and the aim is to urge designers to investigate and interpret how people relate and interact, how communities are related to each other, to form a positive, productive dialogue.
Finally, here are the new dates of Design China Beijing, the sister show of Design Shanghai: 24 to 27 September, at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre, with a selection of the finest brands, divided into the categories Contemporary, Classic&Luxury and Accessories&Objects.
