The event in New York brings important news, namely the announcement of a new format for 2020 under the aegis of Sandow, a global leader in design media and innovation, selected by NYCEDU as the new operator.
Debuts, exhibitions, installations, forums, talks, trade shows, tours and open studios, for disciplines like architecture, industrial design, technology, graphic, fashion, interior and product design, and much more, involving 53,000 designers, almost 8000 studios, 800 museums and galleries, and dozens of the best design and architecture schools in New York State. The five districts of SoHo, Tribeca, NoMad, Downtown and the recent Madison Avenue Design District form the setting for the main initiatives. This leads up to another month of outstanding activity for the world of architecture in New York.
Times Square chimes in from the Design Pavilion that updates its collaboration with Nasdaq, while WantedDesign marks its dual identity in the locations of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The most innovative and experimental design of these venues is contrasted by the pragmatism of the trade platform of ICFF (19-22 May, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center), ready to welcome 900 international exhibitors with the new formats ICFF Contract (for new initiatives in lighting, furnishings, facings, seating and materials) and ICFF Connect (on Smart Home, Smart Office and Hospitality technologies).
In October, Archtober offers 31 days of focus on the discipline and its impact on everyday life (after a preview during NYCxDesign).

Specialists in the field of hospitality design gather in Las Vegas at the HD Expo, the event organized for 27 years now by the magazine Hospitality Design which attracts over 12,000 visitors from 40 countries, and over 800 exhibitors.
The spotlights also shine on the Architecture & Design Film Festival (6-8 June), an initiative that pays homage to the unique creative spirit that drives architecture and design, through a selection of films, events and conferences, to entertain, engage and inform participants.
