The first collection signed by Baccarat and Luxury Living Group makes its debut in Paris: Baccarat La Maison. A very important collaboration in the world of interior design that combines transalpine craftsmanship and Art de Vivre with Made in Italy, innovative technology and the attention to detail of the company founded by Alberto Vignatelli.
The house line is produced in Italy and distributed in the world by Luxury Living Group, while the processing of the crystal is entrusted to the hands of the French artisans of Baccarat.
The announcement of the partnership took place during the last Salone del Mobile and the Managing Director of Baccarat, Daniela Riccardi, states: “We are excited about collaborating with Luxury Living Group in the creation of a collection of furniture that enhances the Baccarat DNA, which has been an icon of luxury living for 254 years now. We are convinced that the mix of tradition and modernity is in the codes of both companies and that the high standards and unique savoir faire of Luxury Living Group and Baccarat have given life to a dream collection.”
Baccarat La Maison is inspired by the history of the legendary French manufacturer of crystals and fits perfectly into the luxury category, owing to the right blend of elegance and refinement, obtained thanks to high quality materials, craftsmanship and passion in the creation of furnishings.
The realisation of the project is explained by the president of Luxury Living Group, Raffaella Vignatelli: “It’s my father’s dream come true, that of translating the legendary elegance and the iconic style of Baccarat into an extraordinary collection of furniture, to offer our most demanding customers the choice of an even more exclusive collection.”
The two companies availed themselves of the collaboration of some of the most renowned international interior designers, such as Jacques Grange, Gilles & Boissier, Arik Levy, Chafik and Alban Le Henry.
Among the works the Gemme line stands out, designed by Chafik, which includes bedside table, sideboard, TV stand, bookcase and chest of drawers. Furnishings born to be protagonists, in particular the bookcase available in American elm, rosewood or dark ebony, while the crystal floats like an illusion on the illuminated strip.
Also highlighted is the Opale sofa designed by Gilles & Boissier and characterised by a crystal side strip and a wooden shell that wraps itself around the seat.
