Not just events (more than 230 scheduled), conferences, and installations: Dubai Design Week makes the product the focus of the exposition. The trade show, directed by William Knight, prepares to welcome 120 institutions and more than 60,000 visitors from all over the world. For one week this Arab city will become the heart of the design world, serving as a prestigious showcase for local companies and designers, as well as both foreign and domestic brands, which will have the opportunity to present their products to the Middle Eastern market.

If Dubai is the centre of the world, then Downtown Design is the centre of Dubai Design Week and will host over 175 exhibiting brands (including the products of 40 regional designers). Downtown Editions represents the innovation of the 2018 edition, presenting limited-editions and bespoke designs by independent students, brands, and designers from the Middle East. The theme chosen by the organisers for 2018 is ‘Liveable Cities’.

An important opportunity for Italian companies specialising in ceramic products is the B2B workshop, organised in collaboration with ICE-Italian Trade Promotion Agency, during which 15 companies will meet with some of the most important architectural firms from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iran, and Oman.
