MYS 2017, the most glamorous yachting showcase

Never before has this event, held in Monaco’s Port Hercule, been animated by such an energetic and international atmosphere, with the significant participation of Russian and American clients. This year the market has shown unprecedented signs of prosperity. The 2017 edition showcased a fleet of brand new, large-sized vessels (approximately 49 metres, with many yachts under the age of two years), as well as tenders, water games, and from sea onto land, a selection of the world’s most exclusive cars, with the Car Deck exhibition.
This impressive array of innovations resulted in an 8% boost in participation compared to the previous year, with 36,400 registered participants, including many private visitors, invited by MYS through the Sapphire Experience programme, with the organisation of tailored stays in Monaco and an incredible selection of 400 appointments on board yachts.
The second edition of the Monaco Yacht Summit also took place, providing information to 50 potential first-time customers wishing to purchase or hire luxury vessels. Over 150 scheduled events, including press conferences, product presentations, on board cocktails or evening receptions, guaranteeing non-stop entertainment for visitors.

Electric golf carts, shuttle boats and a MYS app designed to calculate the fastest way to a stand or boat ensured stress-free and easy access for everyone at the event.

A total of two Gala Parties were held: the opening gala at Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel and the closing gala, attended by 400 VIP guests, with an award ceremony celebrating the excellence of three super-yachts: Home (49.8m, 2017, Heesen Yachts) with the MYS/RINA Award, the Italian Seven Sins (52m, 2017, Sanlorenzo) with the Interior Design Award, and Jubilee (110m, 2017, Oceanco), with the Exterior Design Award and Finest New Superyacht Award.
