Expansion for Bel Mondo, the contemporary soul of Bellotti Ezio

An ambassador of Brianza’s supreme artisan vocation, for over 70 years Bellotti Ezio  has received international acclaim for its furnishings which give form and body to Louis XV, Louis XVI and Baroque inlays.

A meticulous interpreter of market requirements, over the last few years the company has noticed a distinct rise in requests for more contemporary solutions.
The company’s management has embraced this new and stimulating challenge, and together with the architect Giovanni Luca Ferreri, began nurturing new creative thoughts, to provide the best possible answers to current international stimuli.

This process culminated in Bel Mondo, the latest project which distinguishes itself in virtue of its clean lines, original wood varieties and finishings which favour chrome and shiny brass.

The brand made its début at the Salone del Mobile 2016, and after a successful year, it has returned to the 56th edition of the Milan-based fair, decidedly enlarged and divided into two distinct collections – Naxos and Delfi – offering a coordinated lifestyle for all home interiors.

In a dedicated exhibition area, this year Bel Mondo has presented itself with a more defined character, with strong and decisive contemporary inclinations, open to original contrasts, unfettered by ordinary schemas. The rigorous lines and formal cleanliness of interiors are enriched by solutions of great sculptural worth, perfect expressions of which include the console Ficus or the mirror Omero.

Great emphasis has been placed on the selection of fine finishings and materials, such as black Portoro marble, or red Lepanto marble. In all interiors, brushed brass constitutes a harmonious and balanced match for ash wood in chocolate finishing, exalted by luminous fabrics and soft Nabuk leathers.

Donatella Bellotti, the face of the company’s new generation, explains: “Over the years we have increasingly specialised in custom-made, with the creation of complete style projects for luxury residences. With Bel Mondo we now have an effective tool which enables us to approach the contract sector while also selling single pieces from the catalogue. We are certain that the energy we have put into this demanding yet stimulating project will be appreciated, and that after China, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, we’ll win the American market over too”.
