Clouds by Kvadrat and the freedom of composition

Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kvadrat, the interlocking fabric tile concept Clouds, thanks to its extreme versatility and freedom of composition, will be presented at Design Shanghai with an impressive installation.

An absolute masterpiece of the Danish company, Clouds system was updated in 2012 with the addition of elements that, inspired by the irregularity of the surface, can create three-dimensional effects, always different, fluid and dynamic depending on the composition and the colors chosen. Divided in two versions Time and Divine, Clouds is available in a wide choice of color combinations.

The tiles are made of fabric and can be joined together with an elastic coupling system which makes extremely easy the operation of assembly or disassembly.

There are numerous awards won by Clouds in recent years. These include the Design of the Year 2010 at the Design Museum in London and the Danish Design Prize 2010 of the Danish Design Centre.
Clouds is also part of a permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.
