Designed by Studio Brau Roccheggiani Battistelli, the architectural design of the resort Gallo Senone was centered on the idea of ’catch built’, starting with a cottage nestled in the hilly countryside of Senigallia, to turn it into an eco-friendly hotel.
The entire complex is located within an agricultural fund of about three hectares, where the existing structures are divided into three building complexes, characterized by loyal elements to the rural tradition of the Marche region, reinterpreted in a contemporary interior design project.
Thanks to a thorough restructuring and low impact use of plant design, Gallo Senone is the first resort of the Marche to have obtained ClimaHotel certification by CasaClima from Bolzano for energy efficiency, environment friendly architecture and tradition, natural materials and artisanal local skilled labour.
The Resort, in fact, not only meets the stringent standards required by the Class A energy certification of CasaClima, relative efficiency, but also those of CasaClimaNature, for the impact on nature and human health, according to restructuring and scrupulous conversion, low impact and low consumption plant design, ecological certification for all construction materials (stone, brick, wood) and finishings.
For the taps and shower systems, the Studio Brau has chosen sustainable technology of Axor, allowing the facility to switch from the normal 13 l / m to 5 liters of water per minute.
