The “Innovators at Heart” exhibition, curated by Form Us With Love, is the showcase for Bolon’s new products during Stockholm Design Week, which takes place in the Swedish capital until 12 February. Bolon, an internationally renowned Swedish brand, specializes in innovative flooring, with a special emphasis on the creative process underlying production, and counts names such as Armani, Google, Volvo Cars, Adidas, Missoni and Radisson Red among its clients.
At the “Innovators at Heart” exhibition, which is being held at Birger Jarlsgatan 32A until 11 February, the flooring collection designed by starchitect Jean Nouvel will be presented, alongside the world “premiere” of two unique rugs, created with materials such as vinyl, wool, cotton and metal thread. The exhibition also features the result of the collaborations between Bolon and brands with an international reputation including Cappellini, Kettal and Moroso.
“At Bolon, we have always followed our own path and have adopted a fearless and curious approach to the development of our brand and our products,” comments Annica Eklund who, with her sister Marie Eklund, is part of the third generation of owners. “The products and collaborations that we are ready to unveil in 2017 express this curiosity. There have been twists and turns, but these unexpected events have allowed us to fully express our spirit of experimentation and innovation.”
