Giorgetti stars in Cologne

15 years have passed since Giorgetti, a legendary company in the luxury furnishing industry, made its last appearance at Imm.
This wait has been awarded with a major comeback on the trade fair scene, with a rich exhibition program with an abundance of content, starting with the exclusive presentation of Progetti Pure, the limited-edition chair created to celebrate 30 years of Progetti, the company’s icon since 1987.
Progetti Pure will only be on sale this year and it is just the first of 4 creations that Giorgetti has planned to recall and modernize a collection that left an indelible mark on the luxury contemporary furnishing scene.
Progetti Pure is harmoniously inserted in an exhibition space which features all Giorgetti’s historical and most successful pieces.
This has been the perfect contest to present Open-Air, a very sophisticated outdoor collection with a distinct character and style, which communicates Giorgetti’s identity at first glance.

Part of the Open-Air catalogue, Apsara modular seating designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba: a design that can be re-arranged every day according to requirements, with wood as the main feature for a domestic, contemporary interpretation of the typical deck. A platform arranged as an oasis of tranquillity where outdoor living can be enjoyed according to the time of day, one’s schedule and one’s guests. The base is available in two sizes: classic and extra-large, for those who prefer more generous, comfortable proportions.

The catalogue is enriched by Gea collection by Chi Wing Lo, which celebrates the beauty and openness of outdoor living.

The new products for 2017 are not only on display at imm, but also at the Giorgetti Store in Kaiser-Wilhelm Ring, which is not merely a showroom, but a benchmark for the design world here in Cologne.
