Save the date with Project Qatar. On Monday, 18 the Intercontinental Doha – The City hosted the presentation conference of the International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition at its 13th editiion.

The four-day will cover 32000 sqm of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from May 9 to 12, under the patronage of HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Al Sraiya group is one of the partner of the event, together with Industrial Standards and several sponsors.

Belgium, China, South Korea, India, Canada, Saudi Arabia, but also Spain, Singapore, USA and Italy are part of the 37 countries will partecipate to the 2016 Project. Last year, Project Qatar hosted over 32000 visitors – this edition will expect to attract 35000 professionals – and more than 1100 exhibitors.

«Project Qatar has established itself as one of the most prominent events in its category. During the last three years, an average of more than 50 Indian companies has been partecipating in the exhibition», said Mr. Shri Dinesh Udenia, First Secretary at the Embassy of India.

Workshops, conferences and guided tours will succeed one another in the four-day event; in particular, it is interesting the Project Qatar’s initiative, which gives the opportunity to exhibitors to explore the activities of the booming construction sector in the Arabic country, through free site visit tours.

The New Port Project, Lusail City and The Mall are the three, new buildings included in the tour.

The Project – exponentially grown since 2004 – is an important platform for professionals to showcase the international range of products, but also to serve the construction solutions requirements in Qatar.
