Full immersion in Design Days Dubai

Privileged position for the fifth edition of Design Days Dubai, the only collectible design fair in the Middle East and South Asia to engage important partnerships, located in the d3 (Dubai Design District) desirable partner location from March 14 to 18. Supported by the historical French company Van Cleef&Arpels, Dubai Culture&Arts Authority, Audi and Emaar, Design Days Dubai counts 45 exhibitors coming from over 20 countries; the participation of Monogram, Samovar, Vick Vanlian, but also Kalo and Cities is important in terms of regional design development. The fair introduces products of modern and contemporary design from the most prestigious world-wide galleries and made by extraordinary singularities, such as Personal Editions by Marcel Wanders, PantheOn/PantheOff by Analogia and Veronica Todisco’s works for Camp Design Gallery. The dynamic space entertains visitors with conferences, interactive workshops and guided tours in The Venue location, in Downtown, where it is possible to admire the WASL retrospective, concerning projects by 25 designers and producers from the United Arab Emirates.

Between art and design, the four-day showcase is not just an exhibition, but gives the opportunity to increase knowledge through free discussion sessions, as Audi Innovation Talks Series, where personalities like Noah Raford and Ivan Parati illustrate design concepts in a personal way.

The large possibility of ideas and exciting dialogues exchange in Design Days Dubai is boosted by interesting workshops: from 3D mock-ups by Van Cleef&Arpels to the ceramics in The Making Process, including the wearable design by Sara Angold.

Live performances such as Flux – featuring furnishing inspired by the constantly-changing dunes of the desert – and Spark, focused on technology for design products, attract a curious public, while students take part to mentorship sessions, springboard for the future professional career.

Finally, there is also the award ceremony of The Middle East Emergent Designer Prize, promoted by Van Cleef&Arpels, with four talents of international design.
