Illulian and Rashid triumph at Good Design Award

Illulian and the designer Karim Rashid were awarded with the Good Design Award, confirming the success of their collaboration, from which were born the two rugs Info and Link.

The triumph of these two proposals – winners in the Textile category – shows the leading role of Illulian in the textile sector, thanks to its ongoing commitment to innovation, aesthetics, design and high quality. These two rugs, part of an exclusive capsule collection, are a fine example of Rashid’s creative style: a kaleidoscopic play of geometries and colors, defining a new language outside the box, which blurs the boundaries between craftmanship, art and design.

This recognition is yet another confirmation of attention devoted by the company to a universe of design which is more and more attuned to cross-pollination with other fields: architecture, painting, sculpture, fashion and photogaphy.

Each year, since 1950, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design presents the Good Design Award Program, dedicated to the most innovative and cutting-edge contemporary design.
