The 35P, the first model of the new Puro series, has been designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, one of the most highly acclaimed Italian talents in this sector, in collaboration with Andrea Agrusta of NavalHEAD.
Conceived for a global audience, the 35P has a length of 114 feet (35 meters), and a width of 24.5 feet (7.50 meters). The contemporary approach extends to the interiors, featuring many pieces by Poltrona Frau, so the success achieved in the yacht’s debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2024 should come as no surprise. Poltrona Frau, the brand Made in Italy that has written the history of Italian design in the world, demonstrates once again its ability to interpret extra-residential projects of great constructive complexity.
This ability is particularly evident in the company’s Custom Interiors Business Unit, which joins two other units, Interiors in Motion and Residential Living, giving rise to classic, unique pieces like Chester and Vanity Fair, created by the founder Renzo Frau, Dezza by Gio Ponti, and Titano by Pierluigi Cerri, the company’s first Compasso d’Oro award.
In particular, Custom Interiors concentrates on original projects, creating custom solutions for auditoriums, theaters, airports, offices, hotels, and – obviously – yachts, collaborating with the most outstanding talents in the field of international design and architecture: Renzo Piano, Foster + Partners, Frank O. Gehry, Zaha Hadid Studio and David Chipperfield.
The Poltrona Frau products onboard the 35P include Archibald stools and chairs, sofas like the Grantorino, the Nivola and the outdoor Souvenir d’Italie, Isadora and Montera chairs, the Ginger armchairs, and the Bob tables. Furthermore, custom pieces have been created to respond to specific needs of style and layout of the yacht, including a coffee table with a structure in wood and covering in Pelle Frau® Saddle, a TV cabinet and an 8-seat divan.
