New Studio TK showroom in Chicago

The showroom is located on the tenth floor of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart and features four new Artifort collections: Beso, Kalm, Nina and Pala

Studio TK opened the doors of a new Chicago showroom on the tenth floor of the Merchandise Mart (#1041). The move follows the announcement of a collaboration agreement between Studio TK and Artifort, the Dutch company founded in the second half of the 19th century and specialising in the production of chairs, table and sofas. The agreement refers to both production and distribution.
“The aim of the partnership is to expand our Artifort product range,” explains Studio TK president Charlie Bell. “This will mean quicker deliver times for our customers thanks to a delivery hub in the USA.”

Visitors to the new showroom at the Mart can already admire and try out products from four Antifort collections. Beso, a chair designed by Dutch designer Khodi Feiz, features a simple yet bold style and ensures comfort throughout the long working hours. The Pala lounge chair by Luca Nichetto, meanwhile, is designed to mirror the lines of the human body without compromising on a contemporary style. Kalm is a cosy armchair by French designer Patrick Norguet featuring an unmistakeable high backrest, while the Nina chair by René Holten combines an elegant design with an inviting feel.

Among the Studio TK pieces present at the new space is the Borough modular lounge collection by Christophe Pillet. Its informal sophistication is perfect for any kind of space, including office spaces. The lines and design create the feel of a moving platform, injecting a sense of freedom. Cesto, created by Khodi Feiz, is a collection of seating and tables designed to promote interaction and facilitate the collaboration typically required in workspaces. The collection features a padded seat and a variety of different practical tables. The lower part of the pouf can be finished in mesh of fabric, creating a contrast in terms of texture and colour. A range of colour options open the door to a world of customisation possibilities.
