Jean Nouvel for Roche Bobois

At the «Jean Nouvel, mes meubles d’architectes. Sens et essence» exhibition, which is on until 12 February 2017 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, a new collection signed by Jean Nouvel is revealed: the Li-Da round table with its bold, geometric design; the Li-Do column, which resembles a totem and displays, through a rotating movement, the container compartment.
It is the first time that the company has collaborated with a major name in contemporary architecture.

In the words of the Group’s president, Gilles Bonan, «The Jean Nouvel collection for Roche Bobois demonstrates how sometimes the boundaries between design and architecture are preserved. I am delighted that Jean Nouvel’s talent and vision transcend disciplines and are able to reach their fullest expression with Roche Bobois».

Soft, rounded silhouettes in shades of yellow and green for the new Spring-Summer collection. The Coin tables (designed by Dmitri Kozinenko) have a matt lacquered metal structure, with a fabric cover and legs in matt lacquered steel, coupled with both the Quadrille rocking chair (designed by Alnoor), which features numerous fabric covers for the backrest, and with the hexagonal Kaleido rug (designed by Sacha Lakic) with its printed kaleidoscopic print, all illuminated by the Rays floor lamp (designed by Marta Bakowski) with a special hand-waxed fabric made in France.
