Innovation, sustainability, ethics are the Oikos’ values, protagonist of the Milano Design Week. Preparations are underway for the Oikos Colour Floating event that during the Milan Design
Week will bring its contribution of green ideas and proposals from the wonderful view of the penthouse of the historic Torre Velasca with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, at the same height of the spires of the Duomo.
Oikos shares its message – focus on environment sustainability – with Giulio Cappellini, innovative designer. He signs also Tiepolo collection, inspiring to Masters of Italian tradition. The Tiepolo colour collection consists of 56 colours proposed in 5 different finishes: satin, matt and chalk-like, achievable with a single product, fresco and material with the combination of two different products. The choice of colours and shades of the collection is the synthesis with the Italian decorative tradition and contemporary design.
Oikos’ philosophy is visible not only through colour, but also through Open Talks with professionals dedicated to imagine a new future.
Among other initatives, an appointment within the Materials Connexion Village, the hub in the Tortona area of Milan dedicated to new materials and technologies. The collaboration between the two companies has been consolidated over the years with the constant research carried out and has been used to create tailor made solutions using Merck pigments.
