Contemporary living unfolds within a dimension shaped by relationships – between people, spaces, and functions. The home is the core of everyday life, a place of personal well-being, rediscovered for its ability to create both intimacy and hospitality, open to social interaction and connection. The living environment is therefore cross-functional, even in its intended uses: living, resting, meeting, working, cooking, hosting. For this reason, furnishings become equally versatile, ready to meet a wide range of needs, and style becomes fluid: spaces communicate with one another through a coherent and continuous language. The new Scavolini system, Stilo, designed by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto, meets all these requirements. Stilo represents the evolution of the contemporary home thanks to a refined, minimalist design that gives rise to a broad and articulated proposal for the entire home – from kitchen to living area to bathroom – enhancing compositional and stylistic continuity across different environments.

At the heart of the project is the kitchen, conceived as a place that fosters conviviality and interaction among people, stories, and relationships. A strong architectural and material identity, combined with maximum functionality, creates a stage-like setting for meal preparation, working, and socializing. The system’s volumes are skillfully expressed in large islands with sculptural elegance, characterized by the sliding Covering top which, when closed, conceals the cooking and washing areas.

Surrounding this are wall-mounted units, storage cabinets, display cases, and open elements, all enriched by a careful selection of materials and finishes. These enhance both aesthetic and functional potential, expand modularity, and make the system extremely versatile as well as highly customizable. The unifying thread of the proposal is a linear, geometric design culminating in a detail that is both functional and decorative: the pure, rigorous form of the cylinder, repeated horizontally and vertically within the design scheme, giving rise to handles, shelves, desks, lighting bars, and equipped rails for organizing utensils. Available in black and titanium finishes, this element introduces a distinctive feature that defines the character of the spaces: bolder and more sophisticated in the black version, brighter and more balanced in the titanium variant.

“Stilo is the synthesis of a holistic approach to design,” the company explains. “A project that integrates harmoniously into different areas of the home: from the boundaries of the kitchen to the comfort of the bathroom, passing through the warmth of the living room and the functionality of the home office. There are no limits to compositional possibilities.”
