Poliform’s new home in Milan

Poliform officially inaugurates its new showroom in Piazza della Scala, just a few days before the start of Milan Design Week. A place that represents its identity, its soul, and above all its future, completed by the Poliform Café

It had been talked about for some time, but the moment has finally arrived, just days before the beginning of Milan Design Week 2026. Poliform has found its Milanese home. The company was looking for a location that would perfectly reflect its identity, occupy a place of historical and cultural significance, beyond just exhibition space, and, above all, serve as a launching point toward the future of design. The location that brings all these values together is a building in Piazza della Scala, overlooking Via Santa Margherita, Via Filodrammatici, and Piazza Ferrari.

This building has 150 years of history (celebrated this year) and a charm that draws directly from the nearby theater and the Galleria just a short distance away. We are in the heart of Milanese culture, not just a city, but a lifestyle. Opened as a private residence in 1876, it was transformed into a hotel in 1905, intended to host artists performing at Teatro alla Scala. From the very beginning, the building has been a crossroads of culture and travelers, bearing witness over time to the evolution of fashion and art.

The Poliform flagship fits into this exceptional context and fully embraces it. With its three floors, it aims to give the city back a symbolic place, transforming its spaces into environments rich in culture, design, and beauty, open to residents and visitors alike.

“This project holds strategic value for us: it strengthens our connection with the city and communicates our vision and style to the world,” says Poliform’s new CEO, Marco Spinelli. “It is not simply a showroom, but a flagship store designed to interpret the future of the brand.”

The space has undergone a significant restyling, designed by architect Stefano Belingardi Clusoni, following a concept that highlights the diversity of Poliform’s offerings and the completeness of its range. The main floor features living areas, bookcases, and daytime systems; kitchens take center stage on the first floor; and the night area, with wardrobes, occupies the basement level.

Enhancing this distinctly elegant lifestyle is a natural, material-rich backdrop created by the interplay of stone, wood, and glass, along with structural elements that act as subtle partitions and connectors, culminating in a flowing light oak staircase that unites all three levels. It is an approach of “continuity with history, emphasizing the building’s monolithic character,” explains architect Belingardi Clusoni.

The interior design was handled by Poliform Lab, the brand’s creative hub dedicated to research and design, which recreated the brand’s identity through spacious volumes, soft tones, and tactile materials, from wood-paneled ceilings to mirrored steel inserts that add touches of light, and minimalist display windows that emphasize the relationship between interior and exterior.

The new monobrand store becomes a new point of reference in the city for high-end design, but not only that. An external volume of the building, facing Piazza Ferrari, will also house the Poliform Café, an essential and sophisticated space dedicated to social interaction, perfectly in line with the Poliform style.
