Minotti has opened its first flagship store in Bangalore, consolidating its presence in India’s rapidly expanding market. This move, the result of a commercial strategy initiated in 2025 and extensive local research, reflects the brand’s commitment to blending Italian manufacturing excellence with local sensibilities. The partnership with Amber Home Interiors, selected for its aligned vision and solid network of contacts with architects and designers, forms a robust foundation for developing new synergies in the country.

Bangalore, often dubbed the “Silicon Valley of India,” represents a crucial crossroads for innovation and economic growth in the subcontinent. With a young and dynamic population, a thriving technology industry, and a growing middle class, the city is an epicenter of trends and a driving force of development that attracts investments and talent from around the world. Its importance to India is not limited to the digital economy; Bangalore is also a vibrant cultural center where tradition and modernity converge, creating fertile ground for the introduction of new aesthetics and lifestyles. The showroom, spread across two levels totaling approximately 380 square meters, also includes a terrace dedicated to the outdoor collection. The entire space, conceived by Minotti Studio, was designed to reflect the brand’s distinctive aesthetic through settings that evoke an authentic domestic experience, aiming to make visitors feel at ease. The design interprets the fusion of Minotti’s artisanal tradition and lifestyle with the city’s cultural fabric, integrating harmoniously into the context without sacrificing its unique character. The concept skillfully balances material and chromatic layering: natural textures, crafted surfaces, and tonal contrasts lend depth to the environments, translating into a refined visual narrative that unfolds through a succession of living, dining, relaxation, sleeping, and outdoor zones. Light, carefully measured and elegantly filtered through pivoting panels and portals, becomes a design element itself, sculpting the spaces and animating them with an immersive and delicate rhythm.

The first level, framed by a slatted wood ceiling and characterized by the use of warm earth tones, offers welcoming and refined atmospheres where furnishings and decoration are part of a unified project. The entrance is marked by Hannes Peer’s Emmi armchair, a prelude to a spacious living area dominated by the organic forms of Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27’s Bézier seating system, accompanied by Giampiero Tagliaferri’s Laurel armchairs. This is followed by a dining area, featuring the sculptural lines of the Nico table, and a master bedroom, with the Yves bed and a cozy lounge completed by coordinated seating – all furnishings designed by Hannes Peer. Visually separating the convivial living space from the more private sleeping area is a clay-colored lacquered fireplace with a steel opening: a contemporary reinterpretation with a 70s flair, it serves as a scenic and functional architectural element, iconic in the brand’s language.

On the upper level, a white plaster ceiling brightens the rooms, while wooden walls provide warmth, maintaining stylistic coherence. This setting features some of Minotti’s bestsellers, such as Rodolfo Dordoni’s Connery and Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27’s Horizonte seating systems, embodying the brand’s timeless and international style. The journey concludes on the outdoor terrace, where wooden and mirrored panels, concrete-effect flooring, and a striking greenwall provide the perfect backdrop for a selection of outdoor furniture proposals – including Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27’s Quadrado seating system. This scenario celebrates elegant outdoor living, fostering a fluid dialogue between interior and exterior, an increasingly central aspect in contemporary projects.
