Luxury in contemporary hospitality is defined by the emotional experience. By the ability to create sensations and emotions that arise from quality and beauty, which are imprinted in the memory and “leave a mark,” making each stay unique and tailored to those who experience it. This is the path that Palatino has traced throughout its ten-year history: defining new standards for luxury hospitality by renewing the codes of hospitality and creating personalized experiences that combine comfort, aesthetics, and well-being. A pioneer in the world of bespoke accessories for hospitality (OS&E – Operating Supplies & Equipment) and design consulting, Palatino has established itself internationally for its ability to transform every detail into an indispensable pleasure that enhances the hospitality experience.
Today, this vision—conceived by Bastien Le Coz, Gabriella Zavatti, and Olivier Vu—is fully reflected in La Bottega Collective, the new global platform founded by Tommaso Pacini, of which Palatino is a member: a creative ecosystem that brings together like-minded brands in a common mission to elevate the guest experience through exclusive products and services, promoting the most authentic craftsmanship and creativity.

Palatino now celebrates ten years of consolidated know-how and expertise rooted in product design (from conception to customization), thanks in part to its synergy with Colosseo (Palatino’s design consultancy division that designs bespoke experiences), which has led to countless collaborations with the most renowned hotel chains around the world.
Among its most recent achievements is the OS&E collection created for the Orient Express La Minerva in Rome, in collaboration with architect Hugo Toro, who designed the interiors. Completely customized for the guest rooms, the Palatino collection (which also includes a children’s collection) is inspired by the rich textures, Art Deco motifs, and layered materiality of the hotel, so that each piece becomes an integral part of the overall narrative, conveying the spirit of travel, craftsmanship, and contemporary Roman elegance in the daily rituals of the stay.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary and wealth of experience, the brand has presented two innovative capsule collections entrusted to international names in design and architecture. These collections interpret the brand’s vision in a limited series of finely crafted, artisanal objects: decorative items that combine research, culture, design, and lifestyle for select hospitality facilities.
Interior designer and art director Alessandro Moriconi has created his first collection for Palatino Hospitality, which was previewed in Dubai during Dubai Design Week. The designer has applied his style, based on balanced proportions, clean lines, and a dialogue between materials, to a series of objects that includes a walnut and leather container, a sculptural vase in ceramic and aged metal, a mirrored tray with leather inserts, and a box with an aged metal lid embellished with stone details. Each piece is conceived as a small work of art that evokes memories and delicate sensations to the touch and sight, thanks to its finishes, harmonious contrasts, and elegant shapes. These creations now find a new dimension within Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, where the collection is on permanent display in the iconic Pearl Suite.

The second collection bears the signature of Studio Akademos, the Parisian architectural duo Aurélien Raymond and Costanza Rossi. These decorative elements—which debuted at the Waldorf Astoria in New York—are conceived as “small architectural pieces” with a minimalist yet refined design: crafted wood, nickel- or silver-plated metals, and ornamental details express material richness and understated elegance.

Starting with the jewelry box as a symbol of artisanal simplicity, the collection expands to include storage boxes, trays, fruit bowls, and waste baskets, each designed to bring functionality and discreet luxury to the daily lives of guests in the iconic Waldorf Suite at the Waldorf Astoria New York.
