Sheherazade, Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection by Armani:Casa & Jannelli&Volpi

The style of a room takes shape first and foremost from its architectural setting, which encompasses and enhances the “narrative” of the living space and furnishings, defining the atmosphere and aesthetics. Thus, in this design story, even a finishing element such as wallpaper takes on a central role in defining the character and personality of those who inhabit the space. Armani/Casa‘s stylistic research, which has always been focused on creating total look environments with a tailored and elegant touch, includes an extensive collection of wallcoverings, created in partnership with Jannelli&Volpi. Launched in 2014 and continuing over time, the collaboration has given rise to an extraordinary collection of wallcoverings, featuring designs inspired by nature and the Orient.

Attea

Otello

Iolanta

The common thread linking the numerous proposals is the choice of precious materials and substrates, a distinctive feature of the maison. Living comfortably in an environment also means letting yourself be carried away by your imagination and senses, by the enveloping touch that a covering can generate. This is the experience evoked by the Armani/Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection, which completes the distinctive Armani lifestyle of timeless objects and pure, essential, and sophisticated design. The brand presented its latest collection, Precious Fibers 4, at the Déco Off event in Paris in January. The collection consistently continues the philosophy of the line: a blend of refined materials that emphasize the beauty of panoramic and macro-scale designs.

Nabucco

Aida

Odette

The previous chapters drew on nature and stones, in a range of warm and cool tones, from delicate linearities crossed by light, to watery shades, tone-on-tone colors, and trompe-l’oeil effects affirmed by rigorous geometries, lively accents of color, and precise designs drawn from nature. The fourth chapter of the line focuses on leaves and natural stones, declined in new graphics and color variations for existing iconic designs, such as Aida (distinguished by a large palm leaf design, reminiscent of the atmosphere of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera of the same name) and Iolanta (which recreates the dreamlike place imagined by Russian composer P. I. Tchaikovsky in the opera from which it takes its name). Keeping a close eye on the fashion roots of the fashion house, silk pleats, woven patterns, and prints reminiscent of the finest fabrics seen on the catwalk enrich these visually striking coverings.

Aida

Siegfried

This is the case with Odette, which reprises the moiré pattern typical of Giorgio Armani fabrics, reinterpreted on a silk and metallic yarn base with a watercolor effect. Similarly, the checkerboard pattern, one of Giorgio Armani‘s favorites, is revived in Siegfried, characterized by a damier design obtained by hand-weaving strips of silk and metallic yarn, or silk and linen. Sheherazade is no less impressive, with a design inspired by typical chiné printed fabrics, taken from the Emporio Armani men’s collections, embellished with a silk base, either opaque or mixed with metallic yarns depending on the variant. The Armani/Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection thus expands the codes of lifestyle for the home: an intimate and sophisticated place where comfort and harmony can be found.
