Comfort dictates the rules and guides trends, both indoors and outdoors. Every aspect of living comfort is sought after, starting with soft, welcoming volumes that create islands of relaxation and generous padding that is soft to the touch and pleasing to the eye. In the outdoor context, the idea of comfort evolves even further, resulting in a design that facilitates everyday use and increases the pleasure of living in the open air.

The result is functional and highly modular furniture that encourages socializing, conviviality, and relaxation, adapting to the different rhythms of the day. But it is also ergonomic, designed to last and maintain optimal performance over time. These are the principles that inspire Pedrali‘s new collections of outdoor upholstered furniture, transforming gardens, terraces, and outdoor areas into harmonious environments, redefining the outdoor experience. Pedrali’s solutions include modular sofas, lounge chairs, and upholstered outdoor armchairs that combine elegance and practicality in any setting. “At the heart of every collection is the well-being of the user,” explains the company. “Cutting-edge materials, soft water-repellent padding, and fabrics specifically designed to withstand the elements. These furnishings are not only easy to maintain and clean, but also offer refined aesthetics thanks to the choice of colors and textures, as well as excellent technical performance and durability over time.”

Representing these values, one of Pedrali’s most recent offerings is the Lamorisse outdoor Lounge & Sofa collection, a family of lounge chairs ideal for informal yet elegant relaxation. Designed by Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, the collection is characterized by a light and, above all, enveloping aesthetic, thanks to its airy aluminum structure that accommodates a very soft cushion with generous volumes. Its versatility is expressed both in its compositional possibilities – between a lounge chair and a two-seater sofa – and in its practicality of use: the frames are stackable, the cushions are easily removable, and the backrest and seat are removable and joined by a zipper.

An equally soft soul, enclosed in refined lines, defines Reva Cocoon, whose name evokes relaxing and dreamy atmospheres. The concept of maximum open-air flexibility defines this sofa system by Patrick Jouin: linear, corner, and chaise longue elements with large stainless steel backrests guarantee comfort and customization at the same time. Thanks to the two different backrest heights (covered with rope weaving) and soft padding, Reva Cocoon creates a space within a space, accentuating the idea of protection and relaxation.

Volumes take center stage in Buddy Oasi, which quickly became an icon of the brand thanks to its dynamic and modern style, expressed in a compact and playful design. Designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, Buddy Oasi is a system of generously sized poufs and sofas that maintains the contrast between the full volumes of the seat and the lightness of the legs typical of the Buddy family. The distinctive feature is the system’s ability to create multiple combinations, facilitated by the movable backrests (in polyurethane foam) that can be moved freely as needed: they transform the pouf into a seat, for example, or allow for multiple seating positions in a single element.

The Island collection, designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, follows the same design philosophy. As the name suggests, the line consists of soft, versatile, and lightweight islands: poufs and armchairs create a constellation of versatile and informal upholstered furniture – made with polystyrene granules and polyurethane foam, and covered with removable fabrics suitable for outdoor use. The practicality that characterizes the collection is enhanced by the presence of a handle that facilitates movement, while the non-slip fabric on the bottom ensures maximum stability. Pedrali thus continues its evolutionary path, searching for the most innovative expressions of design capable of combining tradition and modernity, for a living space that exudes functionality, beauty, and well-being.
