Taking centre stage in Paris during Maison & Objet, Precious Fibers 4 introduces the latest evolution of the collaboration between Jannelli&Volpi and Armani/Casa. Presented at the brand’s Paris showroom, the new wallcovering collection continues a shared exploration of refined materials and decorative depth, with an increasingly architectural approach to interiors.
Remaining true to the spirit of the collection, Precious Fibers 4 highlights the tactile beauty of silk, linen and metallic yarns through macro-scale and panoramic designs that transform walls into immersive backdrops. Armani’s long-standing sensitivity to nature is reflected in motifs inspired by leaves, stone and marble veining, alongside new colourways of signature designs such as Aida and Iolanta.
Fashion references run throughout the collection. Plissé effects, tailored weaves and patterns reminiscent of runway fabrics translate into decorative surfaces that feel rich yet understated, in line with the Armani/Casa aesthetic. Each design carries a narrative dimension, often linked to music and theatre: Odette recalls the shimmering atmosphere of Swan Lake through a moiré effect on silk and metallic yarns, while Siegfried features a hand-woven damier pattern that creates subtle, three-dimensional light effects.
More dramatic proposals include Otello, where sinuous branches and lacquered leaves unfold over matt pleated silk, and Sheherazade, which reinterprets textile-inspired motifs with an exotic note. Attea and Nabucco draw on classical references, reimagining marble through luminous, iridescent surfaces.
Produced in silk on a non-woven backing and sold by the linear metre (with selected designs available as panels), the collection will be available from February 2026 through Jannelli&Volpi and Armani/Casa channels, including catalogues, sample books and digital tools.
