Miniature Rima interprets and synthesises some of the main contemporary trends in the world of ceramic surfaces: three-dimensionality and small formats. The new collection by Ceramiche Marca Corona enhances spaces through depth, movement and character, giving life to a bold decorative language, rich in expressiveness and strong identity. On the one hand, 3D represents a new dimension of design, in which the material takes shape through reliefs, structured volumes and tactile and sensory effects. Surfaces go beyond their role as simple coverings to become architectural elements capable of communicating, evoking emotions and establishing a dialogue with the environment that hosts them. On the other hand, the small format opens up dynamic and rhythmic compositions, offering wide-ranging design and decorative possibilities.
Modularity allows for the creation of movement, light vibrations and sophisticated textures, especially when the small format is combined with large slabs, introducing contrasts in scale, visual rhythm and a new perceptive texture. The Miniature Rima collection therefore consists of 6×24 cm mini bricks in porcelain stoneware, whose modularity reflects the same dynamism that emerges from the surface.

The structure is characterised by a double groove, enlivened by the contrast between the shine of the recess and the matt effect of the raised edges. The result is a surface with an articulated and precious finish, perceptible both to the touch and to the eye. The playful alternation between glossy curves and matt straight lines generates reflections and visual shifts that change as the light varies, increasing the effect of depth in the relief. The vibrant, playful and at the same time refined effects that accompany the collection are emphasised by the colour palette in which it is available – between intense and original notes, enveloping colours and more classic pigments. There are ten colours available: Tartufo, Piuma, Brina, Burro, Mandorla, Caramello, Tortora, Posidonia, Indigo and Amanita.

Volumes, surfaces and curves find ever new and original forms of expression thanks to the freedom of installation offered by the format: mini-brik tiles can be laid horizontally, vertically, on traditional flat surfaces, but also on volumes and curved surfaces. Installation with contrasting joints further accentuates the relief of Rima, enhancing the texture on the wall. The format and colour range ensure that the new series can be easily combined with different technologies, sizes and effects from the Marca Corona range, in particular with the other series in the Miniature family and the 1741 Line.
