Renovated last June as part of the company’s 90th anniversary celebrations, the Marazzi showroom in Paris now stands out as a space of strong architectural identity and a distinctly welcoming spirit. Located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, just a short walk from the Sorbonne and overlooking Boulevard Saint-Germain, the showroom – taking part in Maison&Objet in the City – has become a key reference point for architects, designers and an international audience.

At the core of the project lies the concept of hospitality. At street level, the space is conceived as a true architectural “box”, designed to envelop visitors in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. A sequence of arches defines the path, modulates the volumes and creates a setting in which ceramics engage in a refined dialogue with architecture. The softly contoured reception desk, together with consoles and side tables, enhances the sense of comfort while simultaneously showcasing the expressive power and versatility of next-generation ceramic surfaces.

One of the key features of the installation is the kitchen facing the window display, crafted from Grande Stone Look – Silver Root White large-format slabs measuring 160×320 cm. The 3D Ink technology amplifies their material depth, transforming the surface into an architectural gesture of striking visual impact; the doors of the fitted wall are also entirely clad in ceramic, underscoring the project’s formal and material continuity. The dialogue between large slabs and smaller formats continues with Calacatta Supreme and with the Crogiolo Terramater Losanga and Lume Swing collections, which introduce three-dimensional geometries, subtle reflections and references to artisanal craftsmanship. Particularly striking is the total black staircase connecting the three levels of the showroom, where a wall clad in Infinity Antracite – with its intense, deeply textured charcoal-grey tone – accompanies visitors and reinforces the architectural character of the space.

On the lower floor, the large slabs are arranged like a material library, freely accessible for consultation; on the first floor, a former apartment retains its original room layout along with mouldings, parquet floors and fireplaces, offering a residential setting. An installation that celebrates research, materiality and savoir-faire, transforming the showroom into a space to be experienced and lived.
