For ten years, Palatino has been guided by a clear vision: to constantly innovate, explore new creative territories, and accompany the evolution of the ever-changing, high-end hospitality sector. Throughout this journey, Palatino has redefined hospitality standards by creating bespoke experiences that blend comfort, aesthetics, and wellness.

A pioneer in bespoke hospitality accessories (OS&E – operating supplies and equipment) and design consulting, Palatino was founded by Bastien Le Coz, Gabriella Zavatti, and Olivier Vu, who shared a vision. With offices in Hong Kong and Paris, the brand has expressed an international DNA and distinctive design philosophy since its inception, interpreting the most sophisticated needs of luxury hospitality. As Palatino celebrates its tenth anniversary, it reaches an important milestone by joining La Bottega Collective, a new global platform founded by Tommaso Pacini.

In keeping with this philosophy, Palatino is celebrating its anniversary by debuting two innovative capsule collections created by renowned designers and architects. These collections interpret the brand’s vision through a limited series of finely crafted, artisanal decorative items that combine research, culture, design, and lifestyle for select hospitality facilities. The first collection, previewed in Dubai during Dubai Design Week, was created for Palatino Hospitality by interior designer and art director Alessandro Moriconi.

Moriconi applied his style of balanced proportions, clean lines, and dialogue between materials to a series of objects including a walnut and leather container, a ceramic and aged metal sculptural vase, a mirrored tray with leather inserts, and a box with an aged metal lid embellished with stone details. These creations now have a new home at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, where the collection is on permanent display in the iconic Pearl Suite.

The second collection is the work of Studio Akademos, a Parisian architectural firm founded by Aurélien Raymond and Costanza Rossi. These decorative elements, which debuted at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, are conceived as “small architectural pieces” with a minimalist yet refined design. Crafted from wood and nickel- or silver-plated metals with ornamental details, they express material richness and understated elegance.

The collection begins with a jewelry box symbolizing artisanal simplicity and expands to include storage boxes, trays, fruit bowls, and wastebaskets. Each piece is designed to bring functionality and discreet luxury to the daily lives of guests in the iconic Waldorf suite at the Waldorf Astoria New York. «Each capsule represents a dialogue between design, architecture, and hospitality. In this dialogue, we explore how objects can transcend their function to become stories, memories, and gestures of place», says Gabriella Zavatti, co-founder of Palatino.

The two collections represent a new chapter in the evolution of the brand’s design language, confirming its cultured and contemporary approach. It’s a vision that looks to the future. For 2026, Palatino has announced two new collaborations: one with the London-based studio CampbellRey, which is renowned for its lively, chromatically rich storytelling; and one with the Australian creative house Dinosaur Designs, which is renowned for its iconic resin sculptures with a strong artistic impact.
