With CNC and PSC, Archventil presents two recent residential projects in Milan that reflect the studio’s evolution toward a multilayered, sensitive approach to everyday spaces.

Both homes were commissioned by young clients and shaped around changing needs, combining bespoke craftsmanship with a refined palette of wood, stone and tactile finishes. CNC, a 124-sqm apartment in Via Canonica, was born from the union of two adjoining units. Initially conceived as a light makeover, the project transformed when the young family decided to acquire the neighbouring flat, allowing the studio to reinterpret the entire layout.

The kitchen–living area was preserved, while bedrooms, bathrooms, study and storage were redesigned to ensure coherence, comfort and visual flow. Materials play a central role: pale woods, soft textiles and matte stone surfaces define an atmosphere that feels warm yet understated. The main bathroom, with a freestanding tub and Calacatta Capraia-effect porcelain stoneware, becomes an architectural feature rather than a decorative episode.

PSC, a 100-sqm apartment in Via Pascoli overlooking Piazza Ascoli, was redesigned for a young couple seeking a calm, contemporary setting. Archventil focused on expanding the living area and reorganising the second bathroom, now connected to the main bedroom. A custom kitchen in a dark tonal palette creates a refined contrast against the light oak flooring, while a walnut-clad volume housing the children’s room anchors the layout with a distinctive presence.

Bespoke furniture defines the character of each space: a curved sofa in the living room, a bespoke bed and wardrobes with integrated vanity in the master suite, and a system of concealed openings that enhances the flat’s visual continuity. Bathrooms rely on refined material combinations – resin, textured porcelain, crafted surfaces – creating a sequence of intimate, spa-like environments.

Across both projects, Archventil’s approach emerges clearly: a balance of architectural clarity, tailored detailing and a sensitive reading of domestic life. Founded by Elena Tomlenova, the studio operates across architecture, interiors and product design, coordinating each phase from concept to completion. CNC and PSC showcase its ability to redesign homes that evolve with their inhabitants; spaces conceived to grow, adapt and quietly support the rhythms of contemporary living.
