Shapes and elements, simplicity and sculptural lines: it is in purity that the most authentic craftsmanship lies, and in thickness that the full power of the material itself is revealed. In the heart of the ceramic district of Civita Castellana, Alice Ceramica represents a bold and contemporary vision of bathroom design. Young but deeply rooted in the territory, the company combines artisan know-how and technological innovation, giving life to collections that speak the language of the material. With a wide range of 20 finishes and 16 collections in its catalog, the company has established itself as an exemplary player in the Italian ceramics scene, thanks in part to its promotion of Made in Italy through entirely localized and certified processes.

The Idilla collection, designed by Manuel Di Giacobbe, designer and Marketing Manager of the company, is the most complete expression of this philosophy. A project that celebrates ceramics as a substance and meaning, where each element is designed to evoke a balance between past and present.

dilla is a visual and tactile narrative that explores the potential of the material through fluid shapes and substantial edges, capable of restoring ceramics to its original dignity.
As Di Giacobbe himself states: «Idilla aspires to be timeless, demonstrating that new ideas and tradition can give rise to new beginnings.

Continuity is not a linear process, but a perpetual cycle of innovation and rebirth». The design includes countertop and floor-mounted washbasins, wall-mounted and floor-mounted sanitary fixtures, a cabinet made entirely of ceramic, and a mirror cabinet. The countertop washbasins—available in round, oval, and square with rounded edges—are 3 cm thick and have a slight raised edge that creates a suspended effect, accentuating the softness of the shapes. The floor-mounted washbasin, the true star of the show, stands out as an 85 cm high cylindrical monolith, a perfect synthesis of craftsmanship and formal rigor.

Materiality is the common thread running through the entire collection: each piece is designed to enhance ceramics in its purest form, with surfaces treated with aliglaze+ antibacterial glaze and equipped with advanced technologies such as aliflush+ for flushing and Fischer Wbklix for fixing wall-hung sanitary fixtures.

These details improve functionality and demonstrate Alice Ceramica’s ability to integrate aesthetics and performance. The line also stands out for its variety of colors: in addition to glossy white, it offers matte, glossy, textured, and metallic finishes, the result of treatments such as decalcomania and 900° firing, which give depth and character to the pieces. The ceramic structure and mirror with integrated handle complete the narrative, offering coherent and refined solutions.

With Idilla, Alice Ceramica reaffirms the value of local production and ceramics as a universal language. A project that celebrates and renews Made in Italy, demonstrating that tradition can be the starting point for new forms of beauty.
