The Connector area of Brussels Airport serves as a link between the two terminals. Here, passengers can relax, work or prepare for their next flight. At the heart of the project is the modular Bay System, designed by Foster & Partners in collaboration with Poltrona Frau’s Custom Interiors business unit, and available in two versions: Bay Lounge, with wide, upholstered seating, and Bay Gate, for short-stay areas such as boarding gates.
This seating solution is also suitable for train stations, university campuses, offices, hotels, museums and public spaces. Its modular design ensures a flexible and durable configuration that can adapt to the changing needs of modern waiting areas. Complementing the layout, Foster & Partners’ Cove chairs offer travelers individual areas to work or relax.
