The view from the stern is decisive, the expectation for another Bluegame monohull yacht is contradicted when the two hulls typical of a catamaran become visible, although not in traditional dimensions. The BGM75 is indeed a new Bluegame model, born from an idea by Luca Santella and designed by a well-coordinated team, but also the first example of a range aimed at introducing a new market and design segment. With a Bluegame concept, Briand Yacht Design water lines, exterior design by Zuccon International Project, the multihull of about 23 meters in length reinterprets and recalculates proportions and volumes, finding its own balance among perfect measurements, compact form, and seamless interior and exterior spaces, also thanks to panoramic sliding windows and foldable partitions for the aft beach area.

With a reduced distance between the two hulls and a length (22.75 m) to beam (8.15 m) ratio similar to that of a monohull yacht, continuous horizontal surfaces are achieved on the main deck and a large, singular volume on the lower deck where, surprisingly, the owner’s cabin benefits at the bow from a full-beam space. The dual layout and décor project for the interiors are proposed in two versions: by Bernardo Zuccon with 4 cabins and a galley on the main deck, and by Piero Lissoni with 3 cabins and a galley on the lower deck.

While the former opts for a selection of furniture and coverings in more neutral tones framed by structures and dark window frames for the panoramic windows, Lissoni’s design favors the contrast between the reddish essence used for surfaces, staircase, and fixed furnishings with the ‘Mediterranean’ white of upholstery, carpets, marbles, and the supporting structures of the glazed parts. In both versions, the view and transition between indoors and outdoors is completely osmotic, with super comfortable upholstered systems indoors or outdoors. The squared shape of the catamarans is softened with more dynamic lines, although the BGM75 retains lower consumption and greater stability, achieved with the use of Smartgyro SG80 stabilizers optimized for this model in close collaboration between Bluegame and Smartgyro.
