Geminiano Cozzi 1765 has transformed Fine Bone Porcelain into a complete sensory experience, embracing both the art of *receiving* (hosting) and the art of creating. Its collections safeguard precious stories and traditions, reinterpreting them with elegance and respect for the heritage of the ancient Venetian Manufactory from which the brand originates. Each piece begins with original designs, reviving the refined lines of a timeless aesthetic, embellished with decorative motifs made entirely by hand. Each object thus becomes a painted work of art, an expression of a sophisticated vision that runs through all of the brand’s collections. This vision, at once poetic and practical, brings to the table not only beauty, but also bonds, memories, and emotional connections. Geminiano Cozzi 1765’s porcelain becomes a tangible symbol of hospitality and welcome, celebrating the value of good food and gastronomic culture. Building on this precise identity, the brand has established itself in the world of luxury hospitality, thanks to a harmonious synergy between vocation, vision, and design coherence. The Maison’s collections, which are fully customisable, offer an exclusive and tailor-made experience, designed to respond with refinement to the most discerning needs of living and entertaining.

An authoritative example of this tailor-made creativity is the project created for the prestigious Foodies Challenge 2025, a biennial competition to design food, involving renowned chefs and established designers and artists, in a celebration of culinary excellence, design, and artisanal savoir-faire. Geminiano Cozzi 1765 participated alongside architect Mario Abruzzese‘s studio Kick.Office and Chef Eugenio Boer. Together, the team created a project that blends the art of the table with mythology, reinterpreting the myth of the Minotaur. The manufactory created a limited edition of plates, enriched with an extraordinary decoration designed by Kick.Office in collaboration with Marta Zanardi (Murtill), a talented illustrator whose bold strokes have drawn symbols and allusions related to the famous Greek myth on the wing of the Gourmet-shaped bone china plate, but twisting the ending of the story. The Minotaur and Theseus forge a new alliance; Theseus helps the Minotaur to escape the labyrinth, definitively cutting the red thread.

On the wing of the plate, the narrative and its characters are staged with a design of extreme elegance: from Daedalus to Ariadne, the Minotaur and Theseus, and a crowd of festive young boys and girls. “Foodies Challenge 2025 represents an exceptional showcase to demonstrate how the artisan tradition can dialogue with the innovation of design and gastronomy, offering a new perspective on the art of conviviality,” the company states. To accompany the project, the short film “FILOROSSO” (red thread) was produced to make the plate and the collaboration between the players accessible to the public. Produced by Wannaboo, chef Eugenio Boer and architect Mario Abruzzese, founder of KICK.OFFICE, converse through their respective arts—cuisine and architecture—within the restaurant [bu:r], which becomes a representation of an interior and creative journey inspired by the myth of the Minotaur.
