On the 68th floor of The Greenwich by Rafael Viñoly, a new condominium building in the heart of Manhattan, Italian creative agency Simple Flair has launched its latest initiative: the Simple Flair Apartment. Debuting during NYCxDesign, the apartment marks the agency’s first permanent installation in New York, extending a format that began in Milan in 2017.
The project offers a curated, lived-in environment designed to host private visits and industry gatherings for a full year. It includes a living room, bedroom, kitchen, foyer, and bathroom — all outfitted with pieces from across eras and geographies.
Vintage works by Gaetano Pesce, Max Ingrand, Mario Bellini, and Angelo Mangiarotti meet contemporary contributions by designers such as Kiki Goti, Martina Guandalini, Maya Leroy, Hannes Peer, and Valentina Cameranesi. Official partners include Halo Edition, Modernab, RYE, SEM, Laguna B, Le Labo, Ready To Hang, and Serax.
Founded by Simona Flacco and Riccardo Crenna, Simple Flair works at the intersection of design, brand strategy, and cultural consulting. Their expansion into New York strengthens ties between Milan and the U.S., reinforcing the firm’s cross-continental presence.
“The Simple Flair Apartment was created with the idea of being a place for exchange, dialogue, and growth”, says Flacco. “After Milan, New York is a natural evolution for this format—an opportunity to expand our vision within a global context, open to cross-pollination and new influences.”
Riccardo Crenna adds: “New York has always been a key reference point for us—it’s where, over 10 years ago, we laid the foundation for our project. With the Simple Flair Apartment NYC, we aim to bring our international approach, fostering new connections and synergies among the most outstanding players in the global design scene.”
