The recently concluded edition of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) brought a vibrant atmosphere of exchange back to New York. At a time of change and uncertainty within the US, the fair demonstrated the resilience and stability of the design world, confirming its vital role for the sector. ICFF drew an international audience, strengthening its function as a connector between brands, designers, and industry professionals, all united by the goal of exploring new business opportunities and expanding their global reach. This year’s edition put the emphasis on the importance of relationships and the exchange of ideas.

The 2025 edition recorded over 13,000 visitors and a 5% increase in the attendee-to-exhibitor ratio, figures that underscore the renewed interest in the fair. ICFF distinguished itself through its commitment to enhancing the participant experience, focusing on tools that facilitated networking and contact exchange: the dedicated app generated over 54,000 connections.

Over the three days of the event, more than 400 brands, a mix of established and emerging players from 35 countries, presented their latest creations, covering a broad spectrum of sectors: from furniture to materials and textiles, from lighting to flooring and rugs, and from kitchens and bathrooms to wall coverings and decorative objects. It was a comprehensive offering tailored to both the contract and residential markets.

A key element of the 2025 edition was the program of talks and presentations, with over 80 leading figures from the design world, including designers, curators, and editors, energizing the Main Stage and the Oasis, engaging an audience of approximately 1,500 people. Further opportunities for in-depth exploration, in a more intimate setting, took place in the Bespoke Salon, the Aqua Atelier by Grohe, and the Juniper Recharge Lounge, with the participation of around 30 speakers.

During ICFF, the ICFF Editors Awards were presented, accolades that celebrate excellence in design.
