Water, waves, perpetual motion: elements and sensations that blend together, generating an ancestral energy capable of sculpting matter and creating constantly evolving forms. It is from this essence that ONDA, the Febal Casa collection, created in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, is born. The heart of ONDA is its natural inspiration; the soft, continuous line of the waves of the Adriatic Sea, which shape the seabed, is reinterpreted as a living surface. The collection consists of two pieces of furniture – the kitchen island and the sideboard – united by the presence of an iconic element: the door, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, where the movement of the wave spreads gracefully, rippling until it reaches edges and corners.
The island, conceived as the heart of the kitchen space, capable of merging beauty and modernity, transforms a space of use into a visual and tactile experience. Available in a variable length from a minimum of 180 cm up to a maximum of 360 cm, maintaining a fixed depth of 121.8 cm, the island can integrate a hob (also with hood), sink and equipped modules with drawers and baskets, while the worktop and sides are highly customizable, drawing from the top range of Febal Casa materials.

The sideboard, a piece of furniture that finds its autonomy and stands out for its balanced proportions and the sensation of lightness it transmits, features extra-clear glass shelves inside that enhance the brightness of the storage space. The entire volume is slenderized by elegant lower blade supports, offered in Carbon Grey and Silver Shade versions. Both elements share the same design approach: an aluminum structure – in black or champagne finishes – that houses back-painted cast glass doors with a metal effect, offered in four color variations: Metal Onda, Metal Bronzo Onda, Metal Champagne Onda and Metal Iridio Onda.

The craftsmanship in modeling the glass and in the back-painting, which gives each door a unique visual movement and a continuous dialogue with light, makes each piece an unrepeatable work. The elements are distinguished by a fluid and dynamic aesthetic, an expression of the design vision shared with Zaha Hadid Architects: a balance between sculptural geometries, precious materials and organic movement, which transforms the furniture into a true sensory experience. The true magic inherent in the entire collection lies in the surfaces and is a true tribute to the material.
A refined balance between solids and voids, between lightness and materiality, which transforms these pieces of furniture into works of domestic architecture, almost touching gravity. The ONDA collection is born from the prestigious collaboration between Febal Casa and Zaha Hadid Architects, a meeting between the brand’s design vision and the architectural avant-garde of the international studio, known for its ability to translate natural forms into fluid and enveloping geometries, has contributed to creating a design that transcends the boundaries of static nature and brings a new living paradigm into homes. The collaboration has made it possible to develop an innovative design language, transforming the idea of movement into a concrete and engaging living experience.
ONDA is not simply furniture, but a true declaration of style: it embodies the essence of movement, fluidity and innovation, establishing a perfect dialogue with the space it inhabits. It is the accomplished synthesis between nature and technology, form and function, which redefines the very concept of contemporary living.
