References to history, nature, and art intertwine in Venini‘s new lighting project signed by Studio Fuksas. In fact, the brand’s research and experimentation in the field of light continues with the aim of combining the centuries-old working of Murano glass with a contemporary aesthetic and technological approach. The Art Light collection has in fact evolved in recent years with extremely scenographic lighting works capable of creating suggestive atmospheres that at the same time dialogue with every style.

From the works of the great Masters of Design to internationally renowned creatives such as Emmanuel Babbled, Peter Marino, Francesco Lucchese and Atelier Oï, each lamp interprets the Venini identity and its extraordinary heritage with character and personality. The Coralia collection, the latest project presented by the company at Euroluce, at the Salone del Mobile.Milano, fits harmoniously into this vision. Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas enhance the art of glassmaking through games of transparencies and refractions with a highly imaginative language.

In the Coralia lamp they merge a universe of meanings and suggestions amplified by light. «Coralia is the name of a Greek princess, symbol of courageous, united and supportive women, custodians of stories that cross time, interweaving past and future», explain the architects. «Her name is rooted in the Latin corallium, derived from the Greek korállion, and means she who is protected by the coral».

The Coralia lamp captures its spirit and translates it into a tribute to the beauty of the sea and the organic forms that populate it. Light and sinuous, it seems to be suspended like a sea creature in movement, with lines reminiscent of corals polished by the currents. The light, filtering through the transparent materials and metallic reflections, creates an enveloping effect, similar to the play of light underwater. A symbol of strength and harmony, this lamp transforms space into a fluid and refined environment where light and matter meet in a natural balance.
