Located on the 15th floor of the iconic cruciform tower of Place Ville Marie (PVM), Accenture’s new workspace is a true ode to innovation: 1,765 square meters characterized by bold colors, neon accents, and a mural depicting the skyline of the Canadian city. A playful elegance is revealed through custom felt ceilings and a new office concept that places the human being at the core of interior design.

In this contemporary Renaissance, Lemay—a firm of over 400 architects, designers, and innovators imagining designs that facilitate human connection since 1957—crafted an astonishing space centered around well-being, productivity, and sustainability, embodying the ethos of Net Positive™: “aligning our built world with the environment on three levels: neighborhoods, buildings, and interiors.”

Aiming for LEED certification, every aspect was designed to minimize environmental impact, promoting the use of sustainable materials and eco-friendly solutions. In a transdisciplinary dimension, various work environments, including the lounge, brainstorming areas, and library, feature smooth corners and curved geometries to encourage dialogue and idea exchange in a dynamic and inspirational interior.

Functional yet aesthetic, the design creates moments of surprise, play, and unexpected touches. At the entrance, an interactive wall made of 1,200 triangular prisms in Accenture’s colors allows natural light to filter through, creating ever-changing reflections—a connecting thread that strengthens the dialogue and essential link between the company and Montréal’s urban landscape.

The meeting room evokes a cloud suspended on the horizon, with flooring that enhances the sensation of movement through textures, colors, and materials chosen to stimulate creativity and collaboration. It is the sensory experiences that primarily define the environments, designed with input from both the company and employees, to bring to life the office of the future: for example, a modern café offers a stunning view of The Ring—one of Montréal’s iconic landmarks designed by Claude Cormier—while communal hubs are enriched with hanging gardens that bring nature indoors, creating spaces that are elegant and ethereal.

An office capable of embodying Accenture’s cutting-edge technology and translating it into a place conceived as a home through customizable elements that can change over time and adapt to the rhythms of the space.
