Except for Francesco Lucchese who designed it and Gallinea who, with its nautical world expertise, engineered it, Nautys is a surprising creation due to the actor who advocated for it and its genesis story: SeHo Park, a Korean who speaks eccellent Italian, is the CEO of Pax Italia (an international giant in POS technology) of which Summit X is a sister company that has been distributing Himacs in Italy for years, and providing services in various sectors.
Architect Francesco Lucchese brought together different skills and backgrounds, and as a lover and deep connoisseur of Himacs, he created Nautys. Due to its nature and material composition, Nautys is not just another outdoor collection in a market oversaturated with options; it is, as Francesco Lucchese pointed out, an “unbrand” aimed at unearthing a user base that goes beyond aesthetics, values content, and, above all, is not deterred by price: a category of users who choose what is beautiful and essential, who love an attractive sobriety with values that remain hidden, being intrinsic to the material that comprises the collection—Himacs—which is by nature limitless.
Nautys is not and will not be a product with a simple and immediate impact; it requires a narrative that outlines its characteristics and creates a “synaesthetic experience,” as Francesco Lucchese stated—an experience that combines the sea, traditionally a source of positive emotions, with a limitless material, all combined with shapes and geometries.
No two Nautys pieces will be the same because the flexibility of Himacs allows for custom-made solutions almost always. Nautys thrives both in sailing and outdoors, but the approach to indoor areas (residential, hospitality, and even office) has already begun.
