With only 32 seats, live music, and an intriguing cocktail menu crafted by bartender Patrick Pistolesi, Nite Kong promises a unique experience. One of Italy’s top mixologists, Pistolesi is well-known for elevating Italy to a lead position in The World’s 50 Best Bars—a prestigious global ranking. Yet, the allure of Nite Kong extends far beyond. Its refined and suspended atmosphere pays homage to “the part of the 24 hours we love most,” as Pistolesi himself notes on the cocktail menu.

The design, orchestrated by MAS – Maria Adele Savioli Architettura in partnership with LaiBE Architettura, offers an immersive journey in a fluid, enveloping environment dominated by a sophisticated, dim black. This monochrome abstraction is punctuated only by the red hue of the corridor, accentuated by mirrored walls, and the captivating video projections by Studio LordZ in collaboration with Purple Neon Lights and Noisevideo.

Light and shadow blend harmoniously through the lighting concept by Studio Luci Ombre, featuring Flos‘s Find Me and Light Shadow fixtures and Davide Groppi’s TeTaTeT lamps, which create ceiling beams or soft eclipses on walls. A constant source of light is the bar itself: a beacon in the night with its backlit stainless-steel structure.

Custom-designed by the architects, its front is clad in a three-dimensional mirrored surface. The countertop, crafted from open-pore, black-lacquered brushed ash, showcases an intricate hexagonal perforated steel design that hosts bartending tools and serves as a drip tray. Nite Kong’s soul is encapsulated in the meticulous attention to service and aesthetic detail, creating a feast for the palate and the eyes. “The night is alive,” declares the club’s website.
