The history between Boffi and New York is a long one: the brand’s first entry dates back to the 1980s, the first monobrand – in SoHo, one of the first Italian brands to be present in what was then essentially an art gallery – dates back to 2000, 1,000 square metres on two floors designed by Lissoni & Partners, to which a second space dedicated to De Padova was added in 2019. Today, 25 years later, the two brands are reunited – along with ADL, the Group’s third brand – in an even more strategic location: the area north of Madison Square Park, which is becoming one of the most important design districts in the United States.

Boffi|De Padova has just inaugurated a new space of over 1,800 square metres on four levels (in addition to the street level, there is a mezzanine, a second floor and a basement, all dedicated to the collections of the three brands), one of the largest in the area. At the corner of 29th Street, the space opens up to the street, in dialogue with the exterior, which unfolds through more than 50 metres of windows.

Designed by Chiara Tombari, Chief Creative Officer and Executive Vice President, together with Boffi|DePadova’s in-house team, the showroom reinforces the Nomad Design District as a benchmark for high-end design in the United States.

With this opening, Boffi|DePadova is moving in exactly this direction.
