Famed for creating modern design furniture for both commercial and residential settings, Pedrali stands out with collections that epitomize functional and versatile industrial design, showcasing a continuous creative and design-driven evolution. Entirely developed in Italy, each line is crafted to highlight different materials—from metal and plastic to wood and upholstery—often combining them to create unexpected solutions, even for outdoor spaces. Pedrali has developed a wide-ranging and intricate collection for outdoor living, maintaining the same aesthetic appeal and quality as its interior offerings, ensuring they are not only visually pleasing and remarkably comfortable but also durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions.
This balanced combination is evident in the chairs, sofas, tables, and accessories adorning open-air settings of private residences and communal hospitality areas. Drawing inspiration from the natural landscape, their shapes and colors interact with elements such as light and air, embedding themselves into the space with a chromatic and sensory strength that enriches every outdoor experience. Each piece tells a story, and every project becomes a journey.

Contemporary design seamlessly merges with the landscape in the #Pedralitales ad campaign shot at a private villa in Noto, where the furniture accentuates the elegance and functionality of the spaces. In a captivating Mediterranean setting, the bright and playful tones of Pedrali’s furniture stand out, including the precious Buddy Oasi, a system of generously-sized poufs and sofas featuring characteristic movable foam backrests, and Nolita Relax, an outdoor steel tube seat that is a natural extension of the Nolita Sofa, evoking historical roots with the first metal garden chairs created by Mario Pedrali.
The designer Andrea Pedrali pays homage to the company’s founder with the Narì collection, echoing the wrought iron chairs in Pedrali’s 1960s collections, updating them with contemporary styling and new industrial technologies: the double hand-forged and bent rod characteristic of the historic Serenella seats is now recreated with a simpler, more linear double steel tube.

Tradition returns, reinterpreted, in the Philía collection by Odo Fioravanti: rational and geometric lines blend with softened shapes, both in the chair and armchair versions. The combination of materials is just as harmonious: the steel tube frame and a textured plastic strap that creates a central, elastic, and resilient crossing.
Another aesthetically striking example is the hotel Le Dune Piscinas, located on the Costa Verde of Sardinia. In the American bar I Gechi’s outdoor area, overlooking the beach, the dark blue Panarea armchairs by CMP Design are featured, accompanied by Reva Twist sofas and Elliot tables by Patrick Jouin.

The Panarea collection is defined by a handcrafted 100% Made in Italy polypropylene rope weave, while Reva Twist is distinguished by a flat rope and generous dimensions, ideal for evening relaxation under the starry sky. Poolside, the Rail outdoor loungers and Elliot tables by Patrick Jouin complete the setup, offering relaxing moments in a refined and comfortable environment.
Internationally, the Patmos Eye Boutique Hotel & Villas in Skala on the island of Patmos, Greece, offers a charming blend of boutique hotel and traditional villas. The hotel terraces are furnished with Souvenir polypropylene chairs and armchairs by Eugeni Quitllet, in a green hue that reinterprets the iconic shapes of 18th-century Parisian garden chairs. Paired with the Souvenir collection are the Elliot tables, which combine soft lines and fluid forms, ideal for creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere.

Finally, at the Clove Restaurant in Istanbul, where Art, Fashion, and Gastronomy intertwine in a natural flow, the terrace features Lamorisse armchairs by CMP Design, made of aluminum, providing an elegant and comfortable outdoor dining experience with a generous and enveloping foam cushion. Every project undertaken by the company reflects a steadfast commitment to excellence, aiming to create spaces that enrich and respect their surroundings, achieving a perfect blend of beauty and sustainability.
