The new branch was established following the acquisition of aXiair, a well-known Dutch distributor of extraction systems with over two decades of experience in the sector. This strategic move, under the direct control of the Italian headquarters, aims to strengthen Elica’s presence in Europe by building robust sales infrastructures in key regions.
Francesco Casoli, President of Elica, emphasized how the company is rapidly expanding its range of offerings in the cooking sector, using a business model that prioritizes proximity and trust with the market. “We recently inaugurated our first showroom in Germany, and we are now expanding our presence in the Netherlands, replicating an efficient and adaptable expansion model,” Casoli stated.
Giulio Cocci, Group CEO, added that the acquisition of aXiair is another step in the project of transforming and directly managing markets with great development potential. This strategic plan will not stop here and will continue with new investments and openings.
According to Luca Barboni, Managing Director of the Cooking Division, having a local organization in the Netherlands gives Elica the unique opportunity to be closer to customers and better support them in their growth journeys. This fits within a market context where the Netherlands is seen as fundamental for the extractor hob segment.
Having just completed a comprehensive rebranding, Elica aims to further consolidate its position in the cooking market. The company offers a new range of products spanning hobs, ovens, and wine coolers, always maintaining refined design and cutting-edge functions. The highlight of this renewal is the innovative Lhov system, which integrates an oven, hob, and extractor into a single product, revolutionizing the kitchen experience.

The new branch in Haren represents a crucial strategic step in Elica’s ambition to achieve leadership in the sector, positioning itself as a reference partner for kitchen specialists and establishing itself as a benchmark in the Dutch market.
