In Venini’s production, Art Light creations hold a special place. These aren’t merely lamps; they are true artistic masterpieces that not only decorate but also illuminate the spaces they occupy. From exquisite chandeliers to dramatic light installations and contemporary portable lamps, all are united by the artisanal expertise that shapes these luminous objects. This is the result of the ancient skills of Venini’s glass masters who, in the Murano furnace, mold raw materials by hand and breath, preserving a century-old tradition and a distinctively Venetian culture.
By combining the limitless shapes of glass with a vast color palette of over 125 hues, works of astonishing beauty come to life, thanks to collaborations with international designers and artists such as Gio Ponti, Carlo Scarpa, Franco Albini, Vico Magistretti, Cini Boeri, Ettore Sottsass, Tadao Ando, the Campana Brothers, Alessandro Mendini, and Peter Marino, to name just a few.

Light experimentation is thus woven into Venini’s DNA, always striving to realize the full potential of glass throughout its history. This spirit continues in its contemporary offerings, where artisanal artistry meets technological innovation, showcasing the brand’s versatility and the breadth of its collections. Venini table lamps elegantly decorate and furnish with functionality, never sacrificing the aesthetic elegance that defines the brand’s identity.
Exemplifying this are the lamps from the Balloton Luce collection, named after the technique employed to create them. During the hot-working process, the master blows glass into a metal mold, the interior of which is dotted with pyramid-shaped spikes, giving the glass a distinctive texture. This pattern, when the lamp is lit, produces a kaleidoscopic effect in shades of Grape, Red, Acquamare, and Crystal, with varying intensity thanks to touch-dimmable LED technology.

While Balloton Luce draws from an ancient glassmaking technique, Deco Luce directly evokes a historic product from the Venini furnace: the iconic Deco vase designed by Napoleone Martinuzzi in 1930. The original design, with its fluid, concentric lines, remains unchanged but has been adapted to become a rechargeable battery-operated table lamp (available in Grape, Red, Acquamare, Crystal). This demonstrates how practicality and sophistication can coexist flawlessly.
Fantasmino emerges from a modern reinterpretation of the past. Venini revived an exclusive archival prototype, bringing it back to life by creating a collection of portable lamps that add a playful touch to living spaces. Fantasmino is distinguished by masterful glass craftsmanship that gives it a sense of subtle movement, as if suspended, echoing another Venini icon, the Fazzoletto vase designed in 1948 – timeless in style and elegance.
