L’Ottocento, a company founded in Cittadella (Padua, Italy) in 1993 and a manufacturer of kitchens (but also of furniture for other home spaces, in a sartorial concept of “total home”), has opened its first showroom in Seoul, in the area dedicated to furniture brands in the renowned luxury district of Gangnam.

Created in partnership with local retailer Samik, the space was designed by Korean architect Sunki Sohn of AI Architects and is dedicated to both designers and individuals. The showroom is developed in two large rooms where wood is the star material: in the Atlante wood paneling system, with integrated passage doors, and in the Chronos oak kitchen, complete with wine cellar and laundry room.

A functional path that highlights the ability to customize projects through furniture solutions that start from the kitchen environment and can be extended to the whole house.

“There was an immediate harmony with Samik, our partner in Seoul, who wanted to combine the idea of design with the quality and wholesomeness of the interior solutions”, says Sofia Campagnolo, Marketing & Sales Manager L’Ottocento, who adds: “L’Ottocento has established itself in recent years as an international brand capable of bringing Made in Italy excellence to all those markets where the desire for conviviality and well-being at home is still strong.”
