Le Corbusier said that “polychromy is as powerful an architectural tool as plan and section”. Not only that, but he considered color so important that he codified his own personal “color scale” of 63 shades, suggesting possible combinations and uses. Before him, there were eminent designers who had theorized the use of color in architecture: Bruno Taut and Gerrit Rietveld, to name the most famous. Then, in 1919, came the Bauhaus, whose organic vision of a dialogue between architecture, art, and the applied arts had an impact on the way we think about living that continues to this day.

The washbasins (countertop or freestanding) are now also available in six highly appealing colors: Warm Grey, Blush Pink, Rose Dust, Ash, Prussian Blue and Jade Green.
