A symphony of styles, suggestions and sensations in which the ceramic surfaces of FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti and Iris Ceramica become the protagonists, thanks to a variety of technologies, materials and applications that, in perfect harmony, create interior scenographies of refined aesthetics and high quality.
The recent interior design project for the Boutique Hotel Sirmione bears ideal witness to this particular corporate vision. This luxurious hospitality structure on Lake Garda, not far from the historical center of the city, has been customized with great attention to detail and the selection of the materials, which add character to all seven rooms of the hotel and its shared spaces.
The sophisticated juxtaposition of the technical ceramics of FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti with the collections of Iris Ceramica – both part of Iris Ceramica Group – produces the distinctive signature of the concept, involving the creation of welcoming and theatrical spaces. The elegant atmospheres get started at the reception area, based on contrasting tones for floors and walls, respectively finished in MaxFine Calacatta Oro di FMG, with large ochre veins, and Luce, a solution with iridescent and 3D effects, designed by Guillermo Mariotto for Iris Ceramica.
In the guestrooms the aesthetic impact of ceramic surfaces returns as a protagonist, giving the spaces a refined character and marking each individual room in terms of colors, graphic effects and finishes, relying on the variety of the large FMG slabs. The MaxFine surfaces cover the bedroom zone like a precious treasure chest, from the floors to the walls, in harmonious continuity with the items in the Marmi Select line, adding material allure to the bathroom zone.
An overview of the brand’s creations takes concrete form in this space set aside for relaxation and hospitality at the highest levels: from Onice Alabastrino with its delicate, warm hues, to the seductive and forceful nuances of Onice Malaga; from the relaxing notes of Onice Giada to the luminous refinement of Onice Perla; or Onice Oro with its velvety appeal, the classic elegance of Calacatta Oro marble, all the way to the intense depth of Kuroca. The leitmotif of the rooms comes from the Luce slabs in the Gold color, for a vibrant glow behind the headboard of the bed.
In a single project, FMG and Iris Ceramica demonstrate all their expressive potential, creating evocative sensorial combinations along with high technical performance – strength, reliability, eco-compatibility, durability, hygiene – making these products perfect for hospitality, and for all lovers of good design.
