Thirty years ago – in 1992 – Cappellini presented the Progetto Oggetto collection, formulated to expand the company’s catalogue (already full of illustrious collaborations: Shiro Kuramata, Jasper Morrison, Marc Newson, Tom Dixon) with a series of accessories for the home and objects for everyday use. This was the beginning of a new way of thinking about the domestic environment.

One of the items on sale at the new Cappellini e-commerce channel, launched for the occasion of the restyling of the corporate website, comes precisely from that historic collection: Cross, the medicine cabinet in sheet metal designed by Thomas Eriksson, which since its launch has entered all the textbooks of design history.
